Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Analyze current scientific nutritional studies to improve nutritional programs
  • Determine the nutritional treatment plan
  • Develop nutrition plan for food service programs
  • Evaluate normal and therapeutic menus to maintain and enhance general health
  • Evaluate program effectiveness to improve the nutritional value, taste, appearance and preparation of food
  • Monitor the nutritional status of individuals who follow a predetermined nutritional treatment plan
  • Provide a complete nutritional assessment
  • Evaluate nutritional status of individuals for health professionals or government institutions
  • Plan, evaluate and conduct nutrition education programs and develop educational materials for various audiences
