Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Wet/damp. Tasks: Maintain aquaculture equipment. Operate aquaculture equipment. Report stock irregularities to supervisors . Write daily basic progress reports. Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures. Transport marine plants to processing plants. Clean, sort and pack shellfish. Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Area of specialization: Oyster. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Other benefits: Paid time off (volunteering or personal days).- LocationCourtenay, BC
