*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and promote overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. *Duties* * Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. * Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to create personalized treatment plans. * Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. * Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. * Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and any changes in client conditions. * Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience. * Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols as mandated by state regulations. *Skills* * Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients regarding their health conditions. * Strong customer service skills to ensure a welcoming and positive experience for all clients. * Excellent communication abilities to clearly explain treatment options and address any client concerns. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices.
