Look to Beretta Farms for your health food alternative. Beretta Farms is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team to help with Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations. Beretta is looking for a career driven professional with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills who want to be a part of a winning team and organization! *Job Description * · Creation of Catering, Value-Add and Cattle invoices in ERP as needed. · Customer creation in ERP ? background checks, follow-up with sales regarding terms. · Process credit card payments for Branded and Catering customers weekly. · Cattle AP ? settlement entry, payment request email/backup, payment entry (bank and ERP). vendor remittances and AP subledger balancing. · Bank reconciliations ? reconcile RBC bank by coordinating with finance team members and tracking entries for accuracy. · Daily price list maintenance in ERP (as requested by sales). · Assist operations when needed for invoicing creation on Branded sales, Vale-Add items receipts and item transfers. · Preparation and entry in ERP of bi-weekly payroll journal entries. · Month End ? AR reconciliation, adjusting entries, rebate adjustments · Month End ? Cattle ? reconcile both GL and AP, recording of check-off and trucking fees, accruals. · Month End - Balance sheet reconciliation ? updating assigned GL accounts as well as tracking and coordinating all intercompany entries with team members. · Month End ? exporting of GL data monthly to be saved in Audit files as back-up. · Ad hoc requests from Director of Finance *Qualifications* * Obtained or finalizing accounting diploma or degree. * Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to multitask and have proven organizational and time management skills. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. * Enjoy working with technology. * Keen sense of urgency and ability to effectively shift priorities as required. * Position is Part-Time ?
