Innovation Plumbing Services Inc. has an opportunity for a full-time journeyperson plumber for Prince George and surrounding area. We are growing! How You will Make an Impact: * Installs, maintains, and repairs residential and commercial plumbing systems. * Install in-floor and radiant heating systems. * Install on-demand hot water systems and combi-boilers. * Perform preventive maintenance inspections. * Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, pumps, pipes and other functional components of the system. * Familiar with drain cleaning and camera inspection tool experience. * Sewer and water repairs and replacements. * Ability to install, service and set-up water softeners and filter assemblies. * Experience and knowledge of roll grooving and threading pipe. * Knowledge of ductile iron pipe installations. * Septic system knowledge and installation experience an asset. * Maintenance and repair of storm and sewer lift pumps. * Rough-in new residential/commercial plumbing systems. * Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. * Project documentation and reporting.. * Attends training programs as designated/required. * Applies all applicable provincial and related local safety requirements to all assigned work. * Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures * Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. * Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. * May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What You?ll Need to Succeed: * High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. * One year or more of related experience. * A valid driver?s license required. * Interprovincial Journeyman Red-Seal in 1 or more trades, Plumber and Gasfitter. * Thorough knowledge and understanding of building trades is required. * Maintains professionalism and understands that honesty and ethics are essential. * Ability to maintain a positive attitude. * Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect. * Past supervisory experience would be beneficial. * Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly. * Must have basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.). * Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship. * Ability to work well under pressure. * Keeps a clean and tidy work environment. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Excellent management and organizational skills. * Ability to work well alone and in a team environment. * Knowledge of and proficiency in all provincial and local requirements related to all assigned work. * Renovation and new build experience.
