Education: Master's degree. Occupational therapy/therapist. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Pediatrics. Private practice. Tasks: Analyse clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews and formal assessments. Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and to maximize independent function in all activities of life. Develop and implement treatment programs. Evaluate treatment progress. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Work experience with special needs students: Children with an intellectual disability. Experience with special needs children: Children with behavioural issues. Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment.
