*Key Responsibilities*
Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Review and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and contracts.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
Prepare and submit reports on project progress, costs, and any issues that arise.
Ensure safety standards are met and maintained on all job sites.
*Qualifications:*
Min. 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
Bachelor?s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field [or equivalent experience].
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proficient in [Software Tools, e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.].
*Skills and Competencies:*
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Budgeting and financial management skills.
*Physical Requirements:*
Ability to work in various conditions including outdoors and on construction sites.
Must be able to lift [weight] pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
*Responsibilities include:*
* Assist the project manager through the entire project life cycle to ensure all project requirements are being tracked and actioned when needed.
* Assist with coordination of multiple projects simultaneously.
* Distribute, track and follow up on shop drawings, samples, deficiencies, change notices, site instructions, RFI?s and addendums during tender and construction.
* Assist with approvals between consultants, clients, subtrades, city, etc. For ie. permits, shop drawings, samples, etc.
* Support the tendering and estimating process by reviewing the bid documents, ensuring drawing packages, RFI?s and addendums are distributed.
* Support the construction process by attending site meetings, recording minutes and creating weekly project reports.
* Upload project documentation through project lifecycle between PM software (Procore) and internal project drive.
* Review all shop drawings and samples to ensure all align with spec book and drawing package before submission to consultants.
* Assist site superintendents with regular site visits to ensure site super is on schedule and offer support through project life cycle via phone calls, emails, approvals, etc.
* Project closeout- ensure deficiencies are tracked and completed as quickly as possible.
