Tired of working weekends? First Canadian Health Management Corporation is currently seeking a Pharmacy Assistants for our client, a multiple award- winning pharmacy in Winnipeg. This is an exciting opportunity with the ideal workweek structure not typical in a pharmacy setting and service delivery with great purpose in the role. This incumbent will have 1-2 Years of pharmacy experience in a fast-paced working atmosphere with working knowledge of provincial drug plans and range of products offered in a pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for providing professional customer service in a knowledgeable manner, as well as contributing to the team in the administration and collaboration of workflow and production efficiencies.

*Responsibilities:*
*This entry level role is all about Team Support, Accountability, Potential and Purpose. The responsibilities will include fulfilling and supporting the Pharmacy Team in all areas of:*
* Compliance packaging of prescriptions
* Count, package and label prescription medications
* Maintain drug inventory
* Restocking pharmacy inventory and supplies
* Administrative duties: inventory tracking, narcotic counts, cycle counts
* Upholding company standards and mission
*Qualifications and Education:*
* Previous experience working in a pharmacy is an asset but not necessary
* Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
* Excellent organizational skills, effective time management with an ability to prioritize important tasks
* Awareness of Indigenous Culture and knowledge of the communities considered an asset
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
*Working Conditions/Physical Demands:*
* Excellent hours: 9am ? 5pm Monday to Friday
* Large Corporate Pharmacy environment
* Intermittent lifting of less than 30lbs
* Alternating sitting, walking and standing
* Flexibility in schedule as needed for business purposes
