*Position Summary *
At DURCO, your career development is a top priority, As such, you will be given the opportunity to support the team through the overall organization of the office, onboarding new clients, maintaining client files and records, compiling year-end working papers, and preparing responses to CRA inquiries. The role of an Executive Assistant is to contribute to the growth and success of the company by collaborating with the team on day-to-day activities and assisting in the efficient and effective operation of the business.
*Summary of Responsibilities *
? Handle onboarding of new clients by preparing and sending engagement letters, including obtaining CRA Representative access, setting up Quickbooks Account, etc
? Compile Year-End Financials on a client's behalf
? Assist with client invoicing and process invoices through the billing system
? Manage work in process for a number of billing partners and managers
? Update centralized CRM system and workflow management software
? Correspond with Partners and Managers about any missing client information, among other tasks.
*Job Type*: Full-time, day shift from Monday to Friday
*Requirements:*
? A minimum of three years experience as an administrative assistant in an accounting or professional services firm
? Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
? College diploma or university degree
? Effective communication (verbal and written) in English
? Applicants must possess the ability to take initiative, work under tight deadlines and work independently
? Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
? Positive outlook with an enthusiastic manner
? Strong understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment
? Experience with other industry specific software (e.g. Quickbooks, Caseware, etc)
