Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Analyze the patient during the treatments. Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images. Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images, and make adjustments to equipment, as required. Provide personnal asistance to patients during treatments. Prepare examination reports for physicians. Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CRCS - Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer. American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification. Area of specialization: Adult echocardiography. Pediatric echocardiography. Echocardiography. Security and safety: Immunization records. Criminal record check. Eligible for professional liability insurance. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Attention to detail.
