The position is tailored for an associate that has some credit and/or investment experience and who would support Portfolio Managers across multiple sectors.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist portfolio managers and analysts with monitoring current holdings.Gather and filter financial data and news.Perform in-depth review of company's historical financial and credit performance, management assessment, competitive market dynamics and industry analysisPrepare models and spreadsheets to project financial performance of issuers and identify relative value opportunities in the bond marketPrepare research reports to present to portfolio managers and the teamProvide timely updates on companies and sector coverages to teamMaintain relationships with sell-side contacts, rating agencies, 3rd party research and company management teams to identify and track investment opportunities.Conduct or assist in economic, market and industry research across the various sectors and geographiesAnalyze trust indentures and bond prospectuses for various securities.Perform timely analysis of primary market opportunitiesJob Requirements :Bachelor's Degree requiredProgress toward the CFA designation2 ? 3 years of experience in analyzing corporate bonds, equities or other investment assets in a buy-side, sell-side or rating agency environment with a preference for previous experience analyzing high yield corporate bonds or loans.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Experience with writing analytical reports.Strong accounting and finance background.Bloomberg, Microsoft Office experience.Hybrid is 3 days in the office per week; moving to 4 days in March 2025#LI-WealthWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
