As of June 30, 2024, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $434 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.In attaining this client commitment, TDAM has built one of Canada's largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts.Job DescriptionResponsible for the coordination and execution of the valuation process for the Real Estate portfolio in accordance with policies and procedures.Work closely with third party appraisers and external asset managers to manage and execute on valuation process within required timelinesReview and analyze property appraisals, understanding key drivers and application of appraisal methodologyManage key relationships with appraisal firms and related internal and external stakeholdersCollection and coordination of data for submission to benchmark service providerDevelop a deep understanding of the portfolio and perform robust portfolio analytics and reportingAssist with performance attribution and forecastingAssist with internal and external reportingJob RequirementsWe are looking for a person who is team-oriented and passionate, meticulous in their work, detail oriented, has a proven record of completing tasks with high-quality results, excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to function in a fast-paced team environment.The successful candidate will hold a Finance or Business degree, CFA or CAIA designation or working towards a designation, and 5-7 years of related experience.An AACI designation would also be an asset.Relevant work experience would be an asset, including knowledge of the Canadian commercial real estate market, and appraisals and a sound knowledge of the investment process. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office/Excel, Argus and/or Yardi would be an asset.
