Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Tagalog. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians. Clean and maintain equipment. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Help with scheduling and workflow. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Maintain supplies. Interpret physician's specification. Maintain inventory of equipment. Perform general clerical duties. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Schedule and confirm appointments. Assist health care professionals. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pharmacy technician Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS Windows. MS Word. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
