We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, acute care practices, and pediatric medication administration.
*Responsibilities*
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions to promote safe medication practices.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop individualized medication plans for patients.
* Conduct medication therapy management to assess the appropriateness of prescribed therapies.
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient profiles in accordance with pharmacy regulations.
* Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medication regimens as necessary to improve health results.
* Educate patients on health management strategies related to their medications and overall wellness.
* Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in *medication administration*, particularly in *pediatrics* and *acute care* settings.
* Strong knowledge of *medical terminology* relevant to pharmacy practice.
* Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy in dispensing medications.

* Required Qualifications:

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 ? 20 per week
