Job description
Early Childhood Educators shall and will program plan to provide a culturally inclusive program that focuses on whole child development as well as offer positive child guidance techniques and supervision. The ECE will organize, initiate activities to help children develop and learn intellectually, physically, and emotionally. You will work with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children in a variety of settings. You also shall build relationships with parents and other professionals professionally, to help children and everyone under the Noah?s Ark Childcare and Nursery succeed the best they can be. Right now, you will be in the toddler room.
As a Early Childhood Educator you will need to be reliable, creative, and nurturing to and thrive in a team environment.
The Early Childhood Educator must value ECE profession in not only offering competitive wages but includes a benefit package, paid holidays, professional development (at least 2 per year), and various training opportunities as well support and help advocate for the needs of the other educators in the centre.
*Responsibilities will include:*
- Provide a creative environment where children can discover, learn, and grow in all developmental areas and to embrace language and culture.
- Provide positive care, guidance, and supervision to children.
- Always ensure the health and safety of children
- Always monitoring them with indoor and outdoor activities and during rest periods
- Ensuring that Health and Medical Safety and Licensing regulations are being followed.
- Help organize and lead daily toddler activities, special events and play a part in the development of a toddler curriculum.
- Assist with developing, planning, and implementing a culturally comprehensive.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with children, families, volunteers as well as staff.
- Communicate regularly with families and staff members about concerns and updates.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and co-workers and ensure consistent positive, professional communications with them
- Fluent in knowledge of child-care development, guidance and discipline, routines, and transitions
- Strong work ethic: self-motivated individual who has initiative.
- Ability to plan a program and set up a classroom to facilitate a positive, cultural, learning environment for children.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Daily logging and track records of day to day routines.
- being able to work collaboratively in a team, but also able to work independently with initiative

*Job Requirements:*
* *ECE Diploma and RECE*
* *Good Standing with the Collage of Early Childhood Education*
* *Valid Level C CPR and First Aid*
* *Up to date 2 step TB Test.*
* *Able to work between the hours of 7:30-6:00 (rotating or set hours)*
* *Experience working with Infants, toddlers and preschoolers*
*Experience:*
* *Working in a licensed childcare center: 2 year (preferred)*
* *New Graduates Welcomed*
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$21.86 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
