Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Restaurant. Tasks: Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Establish work schedules. Supervision: 16-20 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Team player. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Health benefits: Dental plan.
