Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Rural area. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Produce reports. Administer medications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Continuing Care Assistant Certification. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child welfare check. Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses not paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
