 Worker Type:Permanent Language(s) Required:English Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :$103,331 - $139,803 Research and communication expertise required:Participate in all areas of managing risk, including identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting. You’ll be required to create insight and identify best practices, draw conclusions from existing intelligence, present action options and advise on possible outcomes of those actions. What you’ll do:Develop leading-edge practicesManage strategic and emerging risksEffectively challenge plans and processesResearch important risks and provide insight to senior leaders and Board of DirectorsOrganize related committees, including the Board’s risk committee What we’re looking for:Critical thinker adept at topical research and assessmentCollaborative relationship-builder who values the opinions of othersInfluential negotiator able to challenge conventional thinking and practiceConfident communicator who can help senior leaders reach difficult decisionsMulti-tasker able to manage a variety of critical tasks effectively and efficiently What you’ll need:A post-secondary degree in finance, business or commerce and at least six years of related (or equivalent combination of education and experience); a professional designation in risk management is an assetExperience managing risk in a financial institutionSound judgment and solid decision-making abilities
