*Responsibilities*
1. *Procurement Management:*
· Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods.
· Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvements to optimize procurement processes.
· Analyze market trends, assess supplier capabilities, and recommend strategies for cost savings and efficiency.
2. *Logistics and Shipping:*
· Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including customs clearance and documentation.
· Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transit and delivery of goods.
· Track shipments, manage inventory levels, and resolve any shipping-related issues promptly.
3. *Compliance and Risk Management:*
· Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement, logistics, and shipping.
· Evaluate risks associated with suppliers, transportation, and develop mitigation plans.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
4. *Cross-Functional Collaboration:*
· Work closely with internal teams such as finance, operations, and sales to align procurement and logistics strategies with business goals.
· Provide support and guidance to colleagues on procurement-related matters and best practices.
*Qualifications*
· Bachelor?s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum three years? experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain roles.
· Strong analytical/project management skills with Deliverable-focused, with strong work ethic.
· Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics operations, and international shipping regulations.
· Excellent contracting, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Risk management skills.
· Proficiency in using procurement software, SAP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Understanding large-scale organization systems.
· Bilingual (English/Chinese) required.
· High-energy, self-motivated with a desire to excel in a multi-stakeholder environment.
· Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
· Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement and Category Management processes/methodologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
