*Overview*
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your expertise in the food industry and hospitality will contribute to our guests' overall experience. Additionally a knowledge of craft spirits, gin, whisky and craft beer is required, as well as being comfortable talking about our products, and managing bottle sales.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
* Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the craft spirit or beer industry is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
* Ability to handle cash transactions accurately; experience with cashiering is a plus.
* Knowledge of various drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food handling procedures.
* Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during busy periods.
* Basic math skills for handling cash and making change accurately.
* Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends.
