\*\*Key Duties & Responsibilities:\*\*
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through proactive development initiatives. During your first year, you will immerse yourself in our business, products, and client base, while actively engaging in the following responsibilities:
- \*\*Business Development:\*\* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in alignment with company objectives. Research potential clients, understand their needs, and effectively present our products and solutions.
- \*\*Client Relationship Management:\*\* Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products.
- \*\*Market Research:\*\* Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential new markets for our products. Use this information to inform product development strategies and market expansion plans.
- \*\*Product Knowledge:\*\* Develop a deep understanding of our product line, including features, benefits, and applications. Utilize this knowledge to effectively communicate with clients and address their inquiries or concerns.
- \*\*Estimating:\*\* Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness to secure business while maintaining profitability.
- \*\*Quality Control:\*\* Ensure that all products meet the company's high standards of quality. Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
- \*\*Continuous Learning:\*\* Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements in the precast concrete industry. Apply this knowledge to enhance sales strategies and drive business growth.
- \*\*Additional Duties:\*\* Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.
\*\*Professional Experience & Qualifications:\*\*
- Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years? experience in direct sales, preferably in the manufacturing, construction, or building materials industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver?s license and ability to travel throughout the sales region.
- Knowledge of civil infrastructure, natural resources, forestry, industrial, and/or mining is considered an asset.
