Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Organic farming. Outdoors. Wet/damp. Odours. Dusty. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Apply the technique of hoeing between the row. Clean the crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Pack fruits and vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Seed cutting. Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods.
