*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions. *Responsibilities* * Travel to job sites, work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained. Communicate progress and possible delays to customer. * Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems including boilers and air conditioning units. * Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. * Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals. * Perform repair tasks as needed to support overall system functionality. * Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and recommendations for maintenance or repairs. *Skills* * Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, including installation and repair techniques. * Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively. * Adherence to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. * Previous experience in HVAC repair is necessary. *Required Qualifications:* · A valid, full driver?s license and clean drivers abstract · Proven ability to adapt to different situations · Willing to submit a background check · Experience with boiler installations and maintenance preferred · Excellent time management skills · Strong verbal and written communication skills · HVAC Technician with 2+ years residential experience · TSSA Gas Technician II License *Ability to:* - stand and walk continuously - work in adverse weather conditions, in areas of excessive heat, or cold, damp, or excessive humidity - work in tight areas, with limited movement, confined spaces - Must provide own steel-toed safety boots and PPE. - Have great attention to detail.
