*Job Summary*
The Pharmacy Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to patient care, and a thorough understanding of medication management. The Pharmacy Manager will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical services, particularly in pediatrics and acute care settings.
*Duties*
* Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
* Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and safety in dispensing medications.
* Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans that include appropriate medication therapies.
* Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and manage ordering processes to ensure adequate stock levels.
* Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
* Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
* Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in pharmaceuticals to enhance patient care.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
* Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in pediatrics or acute care preferred.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols.
* Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
* Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
