Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Dusty. Outdoors. Work setting: Construction. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Safety vest. Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
