The Product Onboarding Team is looking for an energetic and results-oriented Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of a multitude of solutions to solve complex business problems for our lines of business and being a key advocate of efficiency and continual improvement as we work to modernize. The role is a key position in the Product Onboarding Team. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be the bridge between our business partners and our engineering team. It will require the ability to collaborate with stakeholders through the software development lifecycle to define and review scope and objectives for initiatives, as well as maintain and support the existing applications. The applicant must possess the ability to work with technology focused peers, Business Clients, and Operations Teams on multiple projects concurrently. For this role the candidate should ideally have worked on agile and waterfall projects in the past and be capable of thriving in a fast paced, challenging work environment and demonstrate initiative and eagerness to learn. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business users, product team, managers, and other technology teams, to understand business requirements, processes, and objectives. Analyze and translate these requirements into actional plans and functional specifications. Drives modernization of legacy applications to reduce technical debt, harmonize the Bank's solutions, increase efficiencies, as well as keep the Bank's systems software currency maintained. Assist the product owners in discovering the current system behavior and provide recommendations on improving the current system as well as prioritizing backlog items. Review test plans/strategy to ensure accuracy and sufficient testing coverage of changes being implemented. Identify and address issues, bugs, or discrepancies during testing phases. Create and maintain documentation, including flow diagrams, user/technical stories, and confluence. Provide guidance, consultation, and support as it pertains to the team's systems. Identify opportunities for business/technical process improvement, streamlining workflows, and enhancing overall operational efficiency to drive productivity and effectiveness. Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership for the team, and assist Director/Sr. Development Manager in resource recruitment and provide input into team member performance and development plans. Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation. Drive or participate in high-level E2E solutioning and estimations by working closely with business and software architects, and applicable integrated applications. Collaborate and support Sr. Development Manager on operations, finances, and forecasting of the team capacity, as well as managing Service Now Queues tasks and incidents. Participate in production issue analysis and perform root cause analysis for production issues and implementation issues. Ability to work on multiple projects as a project team member. Analyze data to extract insights, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations throughout the course of business. Perform health checks after releases to ensure functionalities have been deployed correctly as required. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
