The London Club has been a leader in the private club experience for over 120 years and known for our exceptional dining experiences and commitment to quality. We are currently seeking a talented and creative Banquet Chef to join our culinary team and to be a part of a one of only a handful of Distinguished Clubs that exist in Canada.
*Position Overview:*
The Banquet Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation for various events. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Develop and execute innovative banquet menus with the Executive Chef that meet client expectations.
* Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.
* Coordinate with event planners and other departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
* Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for banquet supplies.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food presentation.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
* Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance our offerings.
* Maintain a budgeted food and labour cost.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum 5 years proven experience as a chef in a banquet or catering setting.
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple events and priorities effectively.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Creativity and passion for culinary arts.

Pay: $50,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
