Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Commercial aviation. Outdoors. At heights. Bush pilot operation. Confined spaces. Noisy. Search and rescue. Aerial surveys. Sightseeing. Forest firefighting. Work setting: Various locations. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Fly fixed wing aircrafts or helicopters. Train licenced pilots for additional certification. Co-ordinate flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control, inform crew members of flight and test procedures and direct activities of aircraft crew during flights. Conduct pre-flight inspection of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met. Contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions and other information. Maintain communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Commercial Pilot Licence - rotors. Security and safety: Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
