We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Montessori Trained Guide or a RECE with working experience in a Montessori classroom, to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education, particularly within the Montessori framework, and will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of young children. The candidate should be able to work from 7:30 - 6:00 pm depending on the need.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement engaging Montessori-based lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers.
* Educate children in a variety of subjects through hands-on activities that promote exploration and learning.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any possible concerns.
* Maintain an organized classroom environment that encourages independence and self-directed learning.
* Observe and assess children's development, adapting activities as necessary to meet individual needs.
* Foster positive relationships with children, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
* Utilize technology and computerized tools for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education, preferably within a Montessori setting.
* Montessori certification MACTE accredited training specific to toddler education is required.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff.
* Bilingual abilities are a plus; proficiency in French is especially valued.
* Experience working with children with special needs is an advantage.
* A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development in a supportive environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
