*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to code and meets safety standards. *Responsibilities* * Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures. * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. * Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. * Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to plumbing installations. * Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. * Weld pipes and other materials as needed for specific installations. * Collaborate with HVAC technicians when required for integrated systems. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding plumbing services. *Requirements* * Valid Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification. * Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing installation and repair. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. * Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. * Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory. * Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documents related to plumbing work. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. * A commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
