*What your role will be responsible for: *
* Steering the daily production, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity by following GMP & HACCP regulations.
* Leading, mentoring, and motivating a diverse team to meet production goals.
* Work like cookies & cream with R&D, Quality, maintenance, scheduling, and warehousing to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of customer orders.
* Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement by addressing equipment downtime, production shortages, and efficiency enhancements.
* Collaborating on production schedules to meet inventory levels and customer demands, while managing budgets and reducing costs.
* Coordinate the hiring, coaching and mentoring of dry production workforce in collaboration with People and Development and employment agencies to ensure team excellence.
* Take pride in crafting operating plans and budgets to ensure the efficiency and consistency of the production operations.
*What you need to succeed in this role: *
* Proven leadership experience in a food manufacturing or similar environment, with a knack for motivating teams and solving complex operational challenges.
* Minimum Post-Secondary diploma or recognized equivalent.
* A hands-on approach with a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring all products meet customer and regulatory standards.
* Strong computer and M365 system knowledge
* Strong knowledge and passion towards BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, and JHSC regulations
* Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
* Flexibility to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends.

* Expert organizational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple demands in a dynamic environment.
* A detail-oriented mindset with a high sense of urgency and problem-solving capabilities.
* Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and safety regulations (JHSC, OHSA).
* Ability to think quickly, mobilize resources, and drive timely execution of tasks.
* A continuous learner with a proactive attitude towards embracing change and innovation.
* High energy, self-motivated, always on-the-go.
* Physical ability to stand & walk for the entire shift and lift up to 25kg.
