The start date is August 29, 2024. Terms and conditions of employment are governed by the C.U.P.E. local 2052-02 Collective Agreement. Rate of pay is $29.05 per hour. Terms and conditions of employment, including municipal pension, travel allowance and a full benefit package, are governed by the C.U.P.E. (Local 2052-02) Collective Agreement.<p>The successful applicant will:<p><p> Display exceptional interpersonal skills.<p> Work closely with the School, Parents, and Students.<p> Collaborate with and participate in school-based teams.<p> Maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times.<p> Work to building trusting, caring, relationships with the Students which they serve.<p> Serve as a School-based team member, providing general input into a Student's programming.<p> Work collaboratively with all Staff members, attending and participating in Parent, Student, and Staff conferences relating to the Student, sharing information, planning strategies, and developing interventions.<p> Work with Student on a one-to-one basis to carry out prescribed programs.<p> Provide supervision as need (this may require an altered recess and lunch break schedule).<p> Assist in Student monitoring in all programmed areas and help to provide assistance to Students in meeting programming needs (i.e. community activities, recreation).<p><p><p>The Employer does expect the successful applicant to enroll in courses to achieve an Education Assistance Certificate.<p>Applicants must be prepared to undergo a criminal record check.<p>Applications containing details of education, experience, and references are to be submitted to:<p>Human.Resources@sd87.bc.ca<p>Application Deadline: Open Until Filled <p>We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.<p>Note: Applications made through Make A Future may not be seen, use the contact info above.
