Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs. Design plant layouts and production facilities. Conduct work measurement or other studies. Collect and compile operational or experimental data. Collect and analyze data and samples. Develop manufacturing and processing procedures. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Read blueprints and drawings. Supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery. Prepare production reports. Area of work experience: Process troubleshooting. Area of specialization: Development of production processes. Development of facilities and systems. Development of quality assurance programs.
