<p><strong>SUPERVISOR: NO ROUTINE, EVERY DAY</strong></p><p><strong>CHALLENGE ? ACTION ? LEADERSHIP ? OUTSIDE WORK</strong></p><p>The <strong>Supervisor </strong>is a full member of the marine terminal management team. He is responsible for managing the loading and unloading operations of the vessels, while supervising the handling of our customers? cargo.</p><p><strong>ON THE DAILY YOU WILL:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan the needs in manpower, lifting equipment and heavy machinery (forklifts, wheel loaders, etc.) required for the operations as per the established sequence;</li><li>Assign tasks and oversee a team of approximately twenty longshoremen (day labourers and machine operators);</li><li>Coordinate operations and promote teamwork to promote mutual aid and quality service;</li><li>Enforce standard operating procedures as well as health, safety and environmental standards;</li><li>Monitor operational performance indicators using advanced technology.</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:</strong></p><p>You thrive on challenges and action and are recognized for your mobilizing leadership.
