<p>Worker Type:</p>Permanent<p></p><p></p><p>Language(s) Required:</p>English<p></p><p></p><p>Term Duration (in months):</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :</p>$103,331 - $139,803<p></p><p></p>Relationship-building expertise rewarded:<br>Develop strategic partnerships that will enhance FCC?s ability to serve Canada?s agriculture producers, agribusiness operators and agri-food entrepreneurs.<p></p><p></p><p><b><span>What you?ll do:</span></b></p><ul><li>Build and manage relationships with influencers in the agriculture industry and key government departments</li><li>Contribute sector-specific and industry information in support of the corporate strategic planning process</li><li>Lead the FCC visitation program for members of parliament</li><li>Coach and mentor colleagues on building relationships within the industry and government</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we're looking for: </span></b></p><ul><li>Strong communicator comfortable interacting with audiences at all levels of partner organizations</li><li>Experienced networker passionate about connecting people in agriculture with government stakeholders for the mutual benefit of moving the industry forward</li><li>Strategic thinker who can translate observations into insights and forward-looking recommendations</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What you'll need: </span></b></p><ul><li>A bachelor?s degree in agricultural finance, business or commerce and at least five years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); extensive agricultural industry knowledge supplemented by knowledge of FCC?s lending and non-lending products and services is an asset</li><li>Expertise in stakeholder relations, analysis of the agriculture industry, and the processes and policies of government and parliament</li><li>Intuitive understanding of political factors, key issues, risks and opportunities in the agriculture industry</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels of a wide variety of organizations and associations, including government</li></ul>
