*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. We are a well established in the our community for 15 years. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our dental team.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
-Take intra-oral scans and photos as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene care and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the office.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
*Qualifications*
- New Graduates are welcome.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Gold/CADI
- customer service skills are valued over experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification in Dental Assisting, or provisional licence needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.49-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
