(Katzie) First Nation who were stewards of this land since time immemorial.Manager of Engineering and Facilities(Exempt, Regular Full-time) We are seeking a Manager of Engineering and Facilities with a team-oriented leadership style, outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, project management capability and a broad range of experience. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Operations, this position will oversee and supervise a team of professional and support staff to assist you in executing development and capital projects, including design and installation of municipal works and services, and annual and long term plans and budgets. Municipal engineering services will include water, waste water, storm drainage, transportation, flood protection, solid waste, facilities and more. Work will also include oversight of multiple buildings and facilities and management of their related assets. You will have input into hiring and overseeing work performed by staff, and consultants, ensuring adherence to quality control standards. Candidates will possess a University degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline and be registered as (or eligible for registration as) a Professional Engineer in the province of British Columbia. A PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification would be considered an asset.We are looking for a candidate with broad related experience including five years progressive supervisory responsibility working for a local government or engineering firm with a project management focus.
