*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. *Duties* - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. - Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate data collection and patient documentation. - Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals as necessary. - Stay current with medical research and advancements in family medicine to enhance practice effectiveness. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes. *Requirements* - Medical degree (MD from ->https://www.cpso.on.ca) from an accredited institution with board certification in Family Medicine. - Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment. - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of acute care practices. - Experience in a medical office setting is preferred; familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic or Cerner) is a plus. - Strong data collection skills for effective patient management and reporting. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. - Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in family medicine.
