Established in 1991, The Guild of Automotive Restorers is a world-renowned restoration facility, specializing in the repair, restoration, modification and sales of antique, classic and custom vehicles. We are the home of the world broadcast television series Restoration Garage, 9 seasons, not bad for a Canadian company. The Guild?s creations have been featured on Leno?s Garage and various other TV shows, on radio and in print. We are a busy award-winning restoration shop. We recently moved to a new facility in Innisfil, Ontario, close to Barrie, Ontario. We are looking for qualified licenced, hardworking staff with a passion for Classic Cars who enjoy working as part of the Guild Team and who maintains a commitment to quality workmanship.

*What would a day look like as a Mechanic/ Automotive Service Technician at the Guild?*
· You will work as part of a team of automotive restoration specialists to balance the busy workflow.
· You will perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
· You will diagnose and repair technical and mechanical vehicle issues.
· You will determine if additional safety or service work is required through vehicle inspections.
· You may perform road tests to validate and confirm customer complaints and successful vehicle repair.
*Who is our ideal candidate?*
· Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification of Qualification (310S)
· Experience with antique, classic and custom vehicles
· Strong aptitude to perform technical/mechanical repairs
· Effective diagnostic aptitude with strong time management skills
· Strong communication skills
· Punctual, reliable, and can work well both independently and within a team
· Team player, willing to learn and collaborate with others
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
· Ability to take direction
· Ability to do the job right the first time
· Attention to detail
· Punctual, reliable and respectable
· Use computer time clock and fill out timesheets with daily work descriptions accurately
· Have your own tools
· Detailed customer centric approach and a team player
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
