Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems - Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailers and recommend appropriate repairs - Conduct inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns - Assemble and install new parts or components as needed - Weld and fabricate metal components for trailer repairs - Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed Experience: - Previous experience as a trailer mechanic or in a similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude - Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and tools - Experience working with forklifts and other industrial equipment - Knowledge of HVAC systems in trailers is a plus - Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Perform a variety of repairs or replacements which include, but are not limited to, cooling systems, suspension, electrical system, and engine performance. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields. *Physical Demands:* The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
