Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Cree. Ojibwa. Work site environment: Child welfare. Education or training. Early intervention programming for at-risk youth. Work setting: School help service. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Administrative and office activities. Implement life skills workshops. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Conduct follow-up assessments. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Housekeeping activities. Food preparation. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Implement behaviour management programs. Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. 16-20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). HIGH FIVE training (principles of healthy child development). Security and safety: Criminal record check. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence.
