Job details
Fric, Lowenstein & Co. LLP (?FLC?) is seeking a lawyer recently called to the bar. This position will have a primary focus on general litigation matters, but will also include experience in other areas practiced by the firm. This includes foreclosures, collections, personal injury, real estate, wills and estates, and corporate/commercial law. The successful candidate will gain experience with court appearances, client meetings and, in due course, handling their own files.
FLC is a well-established small firm founded in 1982. Our clients include several large institutions that have been clients of the firm for over 30 years.
The firm provides an excellent work life balance. We are looking for someone who will fit in with our culture and be part of FLC for the long term. At FLC you will have the unique opportunity of working for a smaller firm with large clients. In your first few years of employment, we want you to focus on learning and providing excellent legal work and not your billable hours.
The position offers a full salary with full benefits, including 100 per cent employer paid benefits, comprehensive health and dental, life insurance, travel insurance, paid vacation time and long-term disability. We will also pay for your law society and ALIA fees and professional development courses.
Please note that we are currently located at 420, 1925 18 Avenue NE Calgary, Alberta but will be moving to the Southcentre Executive Tower, 11012 Macleod Trail SE Calgary, Alberta in mid October.
Please send a cover letter and resume to *a.dilello@friclowenstein.com*. Only those individuals chosen for an interview will be contacted.
