*Key Responsibilities:*
- Managing a portfolio of commercial properties with an emphasis on cost control, revenue optimization, and tenant satisfaction.
- Overseeing financial operations, including timely rent collection, arrears management, and implementation of strategies to maximize income.
- Marketing and leasing retail units, with a strong focus on lease renewals, negotiations, and securing financially sound tenants.
- Handling purchase orders, contractor relationships, and work orders to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Administering leases while maintaining positive tenant relations to promote long-term occupancy.
- Supervising maintenance operations to guarantee properties are well-maintained, compliant, and operating within budget.
- Building and nurturing strong client relationships, aligning property goals with client objectives for financial growth.
- Delivering comprehensive management reports and detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Leading and supervising assigned staff, encouraging a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Providing swift responses to after-hours emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to property operations.
- Collaborating with listing brokers to effectively market and lease available spaces to maximize rental revenue.
- Preparing accurate lease documentation and managing lease setups, chargebacks, and adjustments within the Yardi system.
- Assisting in accounts receivable processes, budget preparation, and year-end financial reconciliations.
- Overseeing daily property administration, including tenant communications, documentation, and streamlined office operations.
*Qualifications & Skills:*
- 5+ years of experience in property management, with at least 3 years focused on commercial properties.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial, legal, and contractual issues, delivering innovative solutions.
- Proven negotiation skills, capable of influencing decisions across all organizational levels.
- Advanced analytical abilities to manage complex projects and assess financial performance effectively.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- A dependable vehicle is required for travel between property sites.
Job Type: Part-time
