<div></div><div><p>As Senior Manager in the Commercial Operations Centre, you?ll play a key role in the creating and promoting the Commercial Operations Centre in Edmonton. With your inspiring leadership, operational management and business transfer skills, you will lay important foundations for our culture and know-how at the new centre. </p><p><strong>Your role </strong></p><ul><li>Define strategic orientations and drive the service transformation to help achieve sector objectives </li><li>Manage coordination between the various teams to prepare for smooth and efficient activity transfers </li><li>Support business lines with projects and initiatives to ensure strategic alignment and close collaboration with partners </li><li>Create synergy among teams </li><li>Analyze issues raised by clients, partners, and our employees to influence initiatives and redesign processes </li><li>Advise distribution leaders on sales force development needs to improve operations </li><li>Align the management team and establish development programs to guarantee a high level of expertise and talent </li><li>Act as an expert advisor for senior management to guide the Bank?s strategic decisions </li></ul><p><strong>Your team </strong></p><p>This new position in Edmonton is being created to support the growing needs of our colleagues in Western Canada. Your leadership will help us to build a new diversified team committed to the financing operations of our business clients. You will report to the Vice-President, Commercial Operations in Montreal and work closely every day with several Operations, Credit, and Sales Force internal partners, to ensure the successful opening of the Operations center. </p><p><strong>Prerequisites </strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a related area of activity with 10 years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related area of activity with 8 years of relevant experience </li><li>Substantial experience in personnel management and operational optimization </li><li>Expertise in work planning and organization, operational performance management (KPIs, timeframes, quality), and collective performance </li><li>Experience in a strategic role involving communication, negotiation, and team engagement skills </li><li>Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders and partners</li></ul><div><div><p><strong><span>About the National Bank of Canada</span></strong></p><p><span>We?re Canada's 6th largest bank and the leading one in Quebec.
