Program Site Supervisor <p>MAIN LOCATION: ST. MARYS CATHOLIC LEARNING CENTRE <p>0.77 FTE 12 hours per week 7 month position Term Position : November 2024 to May 2025<p> Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (subject to change based on enrolment)<p> Salary: $25.00/hourThe Program Site Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times, specifically through monitoring arrivals and dismissals, hallways, washrooms, and entry and exit points. The Program Site Supervisor will follow and abide by all Board policies in regards to safety, accidents/incident reporting, and will communicate these policies and practices to parents and staff. They will facilitate the language instructors use of school equipment and school resources. The Program Site Supervisor will plan, execute, and report fire drills and lock down procedures at the program location, and will provide the Principal with forms and reports in a timely manner (i.e. safety protocols and reports, time sheets, weekly reports, and blue registers). They will coordinate the flow of information between the Principal, instructors, parents, and students and will ensure required records and registration forms are safeguarded and maintained. Finally, they will be responsible for assisting in planning program and school events and managing a calendar of those events, as well as managing volunteers at the site. <p>Candidates must possess: Leadership experience in an educational setting;<p> OCT member if possible<p> Knowledge of Health & Safety and Security procedures;<p> First Aid Certification or willing to obtain; and,<p> Knowledge of the International Languages Program.<p> Reliable transportation and ability to work at multiple locations (if needed). <p>Required skills will include, but are not limited to the following: Familiarity with language teaching methodologies;<p> Ability to delegate tasks and organize staff meetings when necessary;<p> Ability to establish routines and keep records;<p> Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; and,<p> Ability to work collaboratively and to be flexible. <p>About us: <p>The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board offers a Christ- centered education to over 13,000 students from Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties, the City of Brantford, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
