As one part of this comprehensive program, all staff as well as their dependents have access to free and confidential supports through our Employee and Family Assistance Provider (EFAP), in addition to many other program components.<p>Reporting to the Manager of Special Education, Inclusion and Equity, the Behaviour Analysts will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team that provides student support and professional development to school staff with respect to applied behaviour analysis (ABA) practice, behavioural support strategies, functional behaviour assessments, behaviour support plans, and safe intervention plans. <p> Duties include but are not limited to: Provide direct support and coach school teams in conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing behaviour support plans, and safe intervention plans.<p> Develop and support the implementation of comprehensive intervention plans for students from K to 12 with a spectrum of behaviours who have been either formally identified or unidentified. <p> Develop appropriate data collection techniques to monitor student progress. <p> Develop an in-depth understanding of contextual factors and contributing variables for student behaviour.<p> Facilitate communication between interdisciplinary team, including staff, parents/guardians, and/or community agencies. <p> Provide programming support and data analysis for embedded special education programs and classrooms from K to 12<p> Develop and facilitate professional development to educators in the school regarding the use and application of applied behaviour analysis strategies in the classroom.<p> Collect, summarize and analyze data related to the implementation of strategies, behaviour support plans, and safe intervention plans that may be communicated to internal and external stakeholders. <p> Model appropriate behavioural strategies for school-based staff<p> Participate in debrief sessions with staff and students Qualifications: Masters Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Applied Disability Studies, or Developmental Disabilities <p> Registered with the College of Psychology and Behaviour Analysts (as of July 1st, 2024) or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) - Include certification number <p> Maintain registration and eligibility for autonomous practice with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts<p> Minimum two (2) years experience designing and implementing applied behaviour analytic programming for children and y
