*Job Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and maintaining files. *Duties* - Conduct legal research to support cases - Assist with the preparation of legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and appeals - Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system - Prepare exhibits for depositions or trials - Draft correspondence and communicate with clients - Manage and organize case files - Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying *Skills* - Strong organizational skills - Excellent writing and proofreading abilities - Proficiency in iManage or similar document management software - Ability to conduct interviews with clients and witnesses - Knowledge of project management principles - Proficient in conducting legal research - Strong clerical skills including data entry and file management Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * paralegal: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationNorth York, ON
