We are excited to be expanding our accounting department and are currently hiring for the position of *Accountant *
*Role Summary*
The successful candidate?s primary purpose is to provide sound financial services to RRSS while acting as a member of the Accounting Department Team.
*Reporting to the Controller your responsibilities will include the following:*
* A combination of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
* Preparation and processing of journal entries.
* Month-end and year-end procedures.
* Documentation preparation for submission and reconciliation.
*Qualifications*
* Accounting degree or diploma.
* Experience in an audited environment an asset.
* Must be an extremely detail-oriented, fast learner with exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
* Customer service oriented.
* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization in a professional manner.
* Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Dynamics).
