*Overview*
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Italian Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service, and leading a team of kitchen staff. - Plan and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes as needed to support the team.
- Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary to meet high standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among kitchen staff.
*Qualifications*
- Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a chef or supervisory role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including inventory control and cost management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
