Our commitment to quality is unwavering, as is our commitment to our customers.</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Purpose of the position:</b></p><p> </p><p>As a Logistics Distribution Manager at Maison Riviera, your main mission is to ensure the efficiency of logistics operations.</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Main relationships:</b></p><p><b> </b></p><p>The incumbent reports directly to the Procurement and Logistics Director.</p><p> </p><p><b>Main responsibilities:</b></p><p> </p><ul><li>Ensure the optimization of distribution routes and processes</li><li>Manage and optimize relationships with 3PLs and optimize internal distributor routes and external</li><li>Build, manage and optimize performance indicators related to distribution and logistics</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and implement logistics strategies</li><li>Plan distribution needs, anticipate constraints and coordinate activities to meet the company's expectations</li><li>Ensure constant monitoring of market rates</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and use performance indicators to monitor the efficiency of logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement</li><li>Implement corrective measures to improve the quality of deliveries and reduce costs, non-conformities and penalties imposed by customers</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize external logistics flows and our internal truck fleet</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop solutions innovative</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain and develop strong relationships with carriers, suppliers and other external stakeholders</li><li>Negotiate distribution contracts and logistics agreements to ensure profitable and efficient partnerships</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor the inventory of finished products, by the turnover and obsolescence rate</li><li>Implement efficient and methodical management tools</li></ul><p> </p><p><b> </b></p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Profile sought:</b></p><p> </p><ul><li><b>Organization and efficiency:</b> You excel in managing priorities and know how to maintain control of daily operations.</li><li><b>Focus on results:</b> You are performance-oriented, always looking for seeking improvements to achieve and exceed objectives.</li><li><b>Impactful communication:</b> You have the art of negotiating, building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.</li><li><b>Analytical mind:</b> Management tools hold no secrets for you, and you use data to make informed decisions.</li><li><b>Stress resistance:</b> You know how to keep your cool and manage the unexpected efficiently and calmly.</li><li><b>Flexibility and proactivity:</b> You are always ready to take on new challenges, anticipate needs and adapt quickly.</li><li><b>Ability to work in ambiguity</b></li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Job requirements:</b></p><p>To occupy this position, the following requirements are necessary :</p><p> </p><ul><li>University or college degree in operations management, logistics or equivalent combination of experience and training.</li><li>At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in distribution and logistics.</li><li>At least three (3) years of experience in the food industry, fresh products.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of the food industry.</li><li>Proficiency in the Office Suite, as well as excellent proficiency in Excel software.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><p> </p><ul><li>Working within a renowned and respected company in the agri-food sector for over 100 years</li><li>Collaborative and professional work environment</li><li>Compensation competitive</li><li>Telework according to company policy / Hybrid position with 2 days per week in the office only</li><li>Savour Ensemble program a- LocationLa Grand-Maria, QC
